Proof of God’s Existence, How Much He Loves Us and Why Evil Exists

Believing in God and understanding his love for us is sometimes a difficult concept to comprehend. This article sets out to prove that God created us, that he is vastly more intelligent than us, that with him we find peace and without him, we are nothing. Even though God may be beyond our comprehension, he created us in his image and he is very much real and a part of our lives. It is evil that tries to block us from understanding the truth about God. However, if we remain intellectually honest, do not deny the truth and seek God with a spirit of sacrificial love in our hearts, his presence will manifest and he will reveal himself to us.

God created us and he is vastly more intelligent than us

In order to create something, you need to be more intelligent than your creation, so something more intelligent than human beings must have created us. If mankind cannot create the most simple of animal species [1], which is a quantum less intelligent than man, it stands to reason that something vastly more intelligent than humans created us.

All humans seek happiness, unselfish love from others and share much in common physically, mentally and spiritually speaking. It stands to reason that our Creator (God) shares the same unity in love and creativity for each one of us, removing the possibility of multiple creators (gods) having created us.

Without the presence of man, nature exists in perfect harmony in a self-sustaining environment, confirming too that there could be only one Creator behind the brilliance of nature. Since mankind lives off the air and food that nature produces, finds peace in nature and feels a connection to it, it stands to reason that the same Creator, who created nature and other animals, was also responsible for creating mankind. For example, it is no coincidence that we take dogs as pets and they in turn love us unconditionally [2].

To assume that this universe and mankind evolved out of nothing, without the hand and presence of a supremely intelligent Creator behind it all, is the same as assuming that a rock or piece of dust can turn itself into a human. This is a flawed assumption, which carries no logical or scientific basis whatsoever, and would be rejected by any intellectually honest scientist or philosopher [3]. However, we can assume that our Almighty God, our Creator, can do what we are incapable of imagining, and turn a rock, piece of dust or the slime of the earth into a human. Indeed, this was the case when God created man, as he revealed to us thousands of years ago [4].

Only a supremely creative, unified, intelligent, powerful and loving God could have made this entire universe, the earth, mankind and everything else that he chooses to reveal to us, such as angels, heaven, purgatory and hell. No human, no created species or creature can ever and will ever be able to understand the awesome presence of the Holy and Mighty One, the Almighty and Eternal God, who created us. The best we can do is accept what he chooses to reveal to us because if we don’t, we will forever be chasing what we perceive to be the truth and will never find the full truth, because his truth, this truth, our reality, is beyond our capacity to understand using our own intellect, and whoever suggests otherwise, is being intellectually dishonest.

So how then has God revealed himself to us?

God reveals himself to us through his Holy Bible

The Holy Bible is the only prophetically accurate book in the world. To prophesy the future of a vastly complex “system”, such as this world and all of its creatures, requires an unfathomable source of intelligence that knows everything about anything and has intricate knowledge of all possible variables, scenarios and outcomes before they are even created. This position can be reserved only for the Creator of it all, God himself, and is sufficient proof that the Bible is God inspired. The authenticity of the Bible is further reinforced by the fact that there are no historical inaccuracies in the Bible, as many scientists, historians and geologists are beginning to discover.

Indeed, the authors of the Bible were God’s true followers and lived by his teachings: they were humble, obedient servants to whom God chose to reveal himself. God guided them in writing, their prophesies came true and they performed miracles, unexplainable by science, in the name of God the Father in the Old Testament and Jesus Christ, his Son, in the New Testament.

Throughout the ages, there have been (and still are) visionaries [5] to whom God has, and does, reveal himself. Many of these are saints whose holiness has been confirmed by the Catholic Church, the Church that God himself, Jesus Christ, founded and to whom he gave the authority to define and bind truth [6]. None of these divine messages contradict the Bible or each other − as is the case with those of false prophets and false Christs [7], of which many exist today [8], who calumniate God and defile his living Word [9].

Further proof of the authenticity of the Bible is that if everyone followed God’s teachings therein, we would find true love, peace, unity, freedom and equality in the world. Diseases such as HIV/AIDS [10] and spiritual afflictions opposing the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit [11], all of which are by-products of sinful conduct, would also be non-existent. No other religious teachings, doctrine or ideology delivers such a perfect, merciful, loving and tolerant environment in which to live: even for non-believers, who are also God’s children. This fact further proves that God, who knows what is best for us, is the author of the Bible.

Jesus Christ, God himself, walked this earth and proves his divinity over and over again

As God’s Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, his saints and holy people throughout the ages have proved, the Bible is also spiritually accurate.

Jesus Christ is the only human being who has been able to raise himself from the dead, which proves his divinity. More than 500 people in a period of 40 days after Jesus Christ’s death, prior to his ascension into heaven, witnessed the resurrected Christ in human form. Thousands of saints and many followers throughout the ages have seen Jesus Christ in visions and some have been blessed with full apparitions of him. Many have also had visions and some apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of Jesus, who has appeared in most countries around the world. For example, the apparitions and messages in Fátima of the 1900s have gained much press (there were 30,000 witnesses alone at the Miracle of the Sun), while those in Medjugorje continue today and alone draw millions of pilgrims every year.

Christ’s saints in his Catholic Church have uniquely performed many miracles (independently confirmed and which reputable authors have documented throughout the ages), such as raising people from the dead in Jesus’ name [12]. Some of his saints have also had Christ’s stigmata wounds manifest on their bodies. Hundreds of bodies of Christ’s saints have remained incorruptible after their death, many of which can be viewed in shrines around the world [13]. Despite what the sceptics say, no scientist can stop a dead body from decaying or disprove the divine intervention behind these incorruptible bodies. Countless miracles have also occurred after the saints’ death as a result of their intercession. These, and many other miracles, unexplainable by science, are proof of God’s presence manifesting in his holy people who chose to obey all of his Bible teachings.

Many of the religious orders founded by Christ’s saints have outlived and are bigger than other human-founded organisations, collectively combining to make the Catholic Church the biggest charity in the world today [14], a Church that has lasted longer than every major empire.

Another irrefutable fact proving the power and divinity of Christ is that demons are cast out only in the name of Jesus. Deliverance and exorcisms in the name of Jesus persist today amongst Christ’s followers [15]. I have personally been involved in and witnessed many such deliverances, having cast Satan and many other demons [16] out of people, and confirm similar encounters to those outlined in the Bible. Countless healing testimonies on the Internet, social media and in many books today further confirm these truths.

Three persons in one God

The Holy Trinity is a mystery and has been revealed to us by God himself. God tells us in the Bible, and through private revelation to his visionaries, that he is three persons in one, yet inseparable – the Father, the Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit. Much like a father tells his children some basic truths, according to their level of understanding and innocence, so it is with God and us, his children. Like we expect of our children, we obey and trust God in terms of what he has revealed to us about himself, and what he is offering us. No doubt, as we mature spiritually on earth, and by his grace eventually meet him in heaven, or on the new earth he has promised us, we will have a far greater understanding than we have today. Little steps, so to say – all in God’s time!

God the Father explains the Holy Trinity to us through his End of Times Messenger, Fernanda de Sequeiria [17]:

“I, your Father God, my Son, Jesus of Nazareth and the Holy Spirit – the Paraclete – we are called the Triune God, the Holy Trinity. We are the Three in One Persons inseparable, undivided. I, your Father God, I created you all with so much love. I love you, each one of you, equally in my own image. My Son Jesus Christ, he is your Saviour, the redeemer of all of your sins. His love is unconditional to each one of you. The Holy Spirit, the Paraclete, he is your breath of life. Since you were conceived, he lives within you, in every instant of your life. Without the Holy Spirit there is no life. The Holy Spirit is your guidance at your cross roads, your teacher in conjunction with Mother Mary. But you my people, you forget to ask the Holy Spirit to help you, to show you with clarity where the darkness is, what is being hidden in the dark to bring into the light. Do not fear to ask us, the Holy Trinity, for help, for guidance. When it seems like the boat is sinking, my Son Jesus Christ is there to rescue you, to bring you safely ashore. He is the captain of your boat, your ship. If you call him (us), we will never let you sink into the deep seas. My Son Jesus is your anchor at all times.” (01/01/2017)

Why did God create us?

Our Triune God – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit – the Creator of heaven and earth, who is love (charity) [18], created us as an act of love in his image [19]. He wants us to share in his love with him, to love like him and to be loved. If we look deep into the recesses of our heart, it is clear that we yearn for freely chosen, unconditional love with one other. Even if we find that love in others, we will never find true peace until we find the love of God and allow him to enter our hearts. God has a similar yearning for our love because if he didn’t, he wouldn’t have created us. Just like loving parents love their children and find joy in their reciprocal, unconditional love, so it is with God and us, his children – except God’s love is unfathomably larger than ours.

If God loves us, why does evil exist?

True love is possible only if it is freely chosen and reciprocated by both parties, in similar image, without force or coercion. So with true love comes the gift of free choice: the choice to love God or not to love him. With true love, therefore, comes the risk of being rejected. If God had removed the risk of rejection from of our nature, then we would not have free choice, and we would just be robots, incapable of loving God and others the way he does, incapable of being in his image.

Evil exists as a result of those who chose to reject God, his love and his way, starting with Lucifer (Satan). One of the gifts God gave Satan, out of love, was his ability to influence others. Instead of embracing this gift for the benefit of all of creation as God intended, Satan used this gift to go against God’s creations. He convinced a minority of angels to follow suit and to use their God-given gifts against him. Satan knew that unless both freely agreed to it, God would not go back on his Word and take away these gifts. Satan challenged God and by his own choice, agreed to his demise should he lose his challenge. He arrogantly thought that he could get Jesus Christ (God in the flesh) to sin on earth or abandon his earthly mission, a mission that involved an incomprehensible level of suffering and sacrifice to save us from the fires of hell. This, of course, was not to be.

As a result of rejecting God and his way, there was a war in heaven. Satan (the dragon) and the fallen angels were cast out of heaven down to earth [20] and hell [21]. Satan also managed to persuade Adam and Eve to disobey God, causing them, and their future generations to be scarred with original sin and exiled from the Garden of Eden. This resulted in mankind having to go through earthly tribulation, suffering and death in order to purify and grow stronger spiritually prior to entering eternity. Despite this exile, God never abandoned us: he always spoke to his prophets and holy people [22]. It is also worth noting that our exile on earth in this “vale of tears” [23] is a far lesser consequence of sin than that experienced by the angels in heaven who sinned, something for which we can be thankful to God. No doubt, God is preparing us for stronger citizenship in heaven, should we embrace our earthly purification in his love, trusting him that it is for our own good in the long term.

Indeed, when Jesus comes again for final judgement, which is soon, Satan will no longer be able to influence those who love God. God will deliver a new heaven and a new earth, and will dwell among men again. Jesus will wipe away every tear and death, mourning or crying will be no more [24]. All that remains now is how many souls will make the right choices prior to final judgement and how many will end up living with God in his light.

Despite God walking this earth 2,000 years ago, thousands of saints showing his presence throughout the ages and the voice of the Holy Spirit in all people’s hearts, the majority of mankind continue to make the wrong choices by going against the Holy Spirit in their hearts. Many still reject God’s way and are not prepared to repent or make reparation and atonement for their sins, thus enslaving themselves and society as a whole, by their own choice, to evil.

How did God respond to our wrong choices?

For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in him, may not perish, but may have life everlasting.” (John 3:16)

As an act of love, God the Father permitted his Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to humble himself as a man to show us his way and open the gates of heaven for us by sacrificing himself for us [25]. Despite enduring every possible temptation, pain and torment that Satan could inflict on him in an attempt to get him to sin against his Commandments, Jesus persisted in his mission: his 40 days of fasting and being tempted in the desert and his most gruesome passion, carrying the pain of each and every one of our sins on his shoulders to save our souls from the fires of hell.

In the words of Father God to Fernanda de Sequeira on Good Friday 2016:

My dear people, today marks another year, another epoch in my people’s lives. Again, the passion of Jesus Christ – oh, all of you, my people, you will never understand my Son Jesus Christ’s sufferings during these forty days. This Holy Week, which is from Holy Monday to Good Friday, my dear people: the pains, the excruciating, horrific pains that the world will never comprehend... Holy Week was the beginning of the pain and suffering but the bodily harm was from Holy Thursday, which was the beginning of my Son Jesus’ passion. On Good Friday, they did the most indecent things against my Son: they humiliated him with foul language, they scourged him, they tied him like a thief, punished him for a crime he never committed, falsely accused him in many ways, they took away his dignity by taking off his clothes and they massacred his body.

What they did to my Son is too painful for some of you, and you will never understand my Son’s fifteen secret pains that my people never knew of. Very few are aware of the extent of these secret pains. You do know, my Petal, the severity of these secret pains. I, your Father, I was waiting for some of you to come and meditate on my Son Jesus of Nazareth’s passion. There are many horrific ways to describe it. One day, I will allow you to you to witness my Son Jesus’ passion for you to transmit to my people.

My dear people, stop your sinful lives. It is time to come back to my Son Jesus. Your time is limited in this world. Take this opportunity, absorb it: do not waste time and energy on things of this world. My people, I, your Father, I want you to receive this fraternity of love, this mercy, for free. I give you my peace, my peace I give you, your loved ones and all my people all over the world. Amen.” (25/03/2016)

This sacrifice, if embraced in sacrificial love of God and neighbour, allows us to more easily purify on earth, re-establish our relationship with God, be delivered from evil and avoid a harsher purification in eternity. The cross we carry on earth for our purification is far lighter than that carried by Jesus for our sins, yet many still refuse to embrace their crosses. They complain about their trials and tribulations instead of carrying them with love, humility and purity.

If my death on the cross does not convince you of my love, what will convince you?” (Jesus to St Faustina)

Christ died once for our sins, yet his loving sacrifice persists in eternity for us until the End of Time through his Holy Eucharist. When celebrating the Holy Eucharist in Mass, we are at the foot of the cross of Jesus – his Body is still broken and he is still mystically shedding his Blood for us in atonement for our sins and for those of the whole world. The Holy Eucharist is the living Body of Christ [26], it is his living sacrifice that persists in eternity as a result of our ongoing sins, and brings many graces to earth every time we attend Holy Mass. When we receive the Body of Christ worthily, through regular and contrite Confession, Christ truly enters our hearts and his grace starts to shine through us. The Holy Eucharist is the bread of life [27], our daily bread (which we ask for in the Our Father prayer) that gave God’s saints the strength to achieve the levels of holiness and love that they did. This loving sacrifice is available for each one of us, without exception. This sacrifice hurts Christ further if we take him unworthily [28], but it brings him joy if we take him worthily.

Every time we sin, we pierce our loving Jesus’ Sacred Heart and cause him immense pain – a pain that he is prepared to undergo for the love of us. On the cross, he thirsted for our salvation [29], and today, he continues to do the same for us. He is waiting patiently for the day when we choose to truly love him, repent with true contrition through the Sacrament of Confession, and stop hurting him [30].

We need to understand that, although we encounter trials and tribulations as a result of sin in the world, they are for our own good. They allow us to mature spiritually and so earn a greater reward in heaven. Jesus is gently drawing us to him without force or coercion but with pure, divine sacrificial love, a love that, if embraced by ourselves (by not meeting evil with evil, but with sacrificial love), will lead to our sanctification. It will allow us to not only grow in God’s image but to also draw others into his light, his Sacred Heart. If we embrace God’s love and open our hearts to him, he will bring us immense peace. He will heal our bodies, minds, hearts and souls, and he will give us our reward in eternity, which is everlasting life and paradise with God. What greater love can we ask for than this?

What is God saying today about his love?

Our Loving God keeps telling us through his End of Times messenger Fernanda de Sequeira [31] about his immensity of love for us:

“My precious people, my lambs, I, your Father God, I am here to transmit, convey more profoundly, about my love, my Son Jesus’ love, the Holy Spirit and the Triune God. Our love, God’s love endures forever in your hearts. Our love has no measurements – it is an ocean of love, an immensity that no one can see or understand. Only when you, my children, my people, open your hearts completely to God’s love and let it enter and sink into your hearts, then you will feel how much God loves you. God’s love, our love, is an open tap, like a strong current of water that flows through your hearts. Our love is an immensity, it never runs short; it flows and flows upon and into your dry hearts. My children, God’s love endures forever. Even when you close your hearts to God’s love, he waits patiently to come into your hearts.

Do not waste time, do not even doubt how great, how powerful our love is. Even when you, my children, reject my love, I never leave you alone. I am always at your side to embrace you, to protect you, to give you strength, courage, faith and perseverance. Even when you don’t feel me, I do stay closer to you. Even during your hardships, trials and tribulations, you push me away, you don’t look for me and you don’t seek me, but my love for you is always beside you. I created you – you belong to me. How can a Father’s love be ignored? The Father God, he loves his children unconditionally, no exception to anyone. My love, God’s love is for all of you. I don’t have favourites. Oh my people, my love is a fountain of love for you for all eternity.

Oh my people, don’t ignore me, don’t ever doubt God’s love for you. In your time of calamity, call me. I will abide to come to your heart to stay forever in the depths of your heart. Come my children, invite me. Let me sit in your hearts. I need to rest in your heart. Will you, my child, accept me now in your heart? Oh I do sit very quietly. I don’t disturb you. I just ask you to feel and to love me all the days of your life. Amen.” (14/02/2012)

"My child, I love to enter my children's “homes” – their hearts. I knock and knock but get no reply from the inside their homes. Then, I, your Jesus, turn away in tears and pain because I see that my children are inside their homes but they don’t want to open the door for me. Oh, I feel ignored, rejected and unloved by my own children, my own flesh and blood, whom I created with so much love, and afterwards they turn their backs on me. Oh, it is very sore and painful to receive this kind of welcome.

Oh my children, I love you, I love you. Can you love me just a little bit for now? I don’t force myself on you. I want just a tiny seed of your love for now. I will appreciate it if you let me get closer to you and give me more love, more and more until I feel satiated in your love. I promise you, I will take care of you always, your loved ones and families. I will infill you with so much heavenly richness that you will never perish.

Do you allow me, my children, to enter into your homes? Oh thank you my children, I am so happy, I have so much joy in my heart, just at the thought of knowing that you are going to love me and my Mother. Okay my children, I will be waiting for this special day! I am so excited. I am your Lord Jesus Christ, full of compassion. Oh, I have patience in waiting for you, my children. Please don’t take too long, it might be too late for that special day. Know, my children, that I never advise you when your last year, day or hour on earth will be accomplished. See, my children, don’t waste time, it might be too late.

Thank you my precious children, I, your Jesus of Nazareth come to you all on this day and hour to convey this special message of salvation to all of you, my children. Do not fear or hesitate to let me in your homes. I love you all equally.” (28/02/2011)

Another holy person today who receives messages similar to Fernanda’s, also with permission from the Catholic Church, is stigmatist and visionary Alan Ames. Here is what our Lord has to say about his love for us through Alan Ames [32]:

As I walked through the desert and then climbed the mountain I thought of the love that was wasted throughout the world. The love that could bring peace and joy to all, the love that was the answer to all of mankind’s needs, the love that is God. I saw so many who did not even consider for a moment what was there for them in the love they denied. I felt sad that so many did not understand what God offered them in his love. The Father sent me to show mankind that God’s love is real and it is there for all. As I walked I opened my heart to the world and let my mercy fill the air and I continued to do so throughout my life on earth and I continue to do so throughout eternity. The mercy of God is here for all, I offer it to all and all I ask in return is love.” (12/12/1995)

As the blood ran down my face and fell on the ground I gave myself for the world as a sacrifice to forgive mankind’s sins. As the wounds in my body tore on the nails I cried to the Father to forgive mankind’s sins. As I rose from the dead I showed mankind’s sins had been forgiven and if mankind accepted this forgiveness eternal life with God was theirs.” (13/12/1995)

The pain I carried on the cross was all of mankind’s pain. The sin I carried on the cross was all of mankind’s sin. The forgiveness I offer on the cross is for all mankind, if only they ask.” (14/05/1996)

When your family takes all you have to give and expects to give nothing in return and when they abuse you when you ask for what is due, then you know some of the pain I feel each time a child of God treats me so.” (17/12/1995)

What is true love?

God is love, the source of love. Love is kind, gentle, unselfish, pure, forgiving, generous, patient, faithful, compassionate, merciful, trusting, enduring, calm, peace-seeking, slow to anger, joyful, truthful, charitable, empowering, sacrificial and humble. If we love God and love like God, he will give us the grace to love everybody, without exception, as he does.

Why then all the confusion about God?

When we go against any of God’s teachings or Commandments, even if done out of ignorance, we invite evil spirits (demons) into our surrounds. These demons are God’s declared enemies: Satan, fallen angels and human souls in hell who choose to obey Satan by wandering the world and seeking the ruin of souls. As we persist in the sin without repentance, these demons start to gain more and more authority on us, either around us or in the end, through demonic possession. Their ability to influence our thinking through their voice of diabolical reasoning increases the more we stubbornly persist in our sin. These evil spirits (in contrast to the Holy Spirit) bring confusion, irreverence and a lack of faith with them, so much so that even if all the physical evidence is presented in front of a person, the person will still be blocked to not accept these as truth, rendering him or herself blinded by their own sin and pride [33]. Indeed, this is this case with Satan and his demons: they are spiritually blinded, can’t accept defeat and are fighting a battle they’ve already lost. Those on earth who play into the demons’ diabolic reasoning are not listening to God’s voice of reason and truth in their hearts. They are falling into the same trap, too, and in effect, denying the Holy Spirit of truth and love, which has been infused into all of us at birth without exception [34].

Irrespective of belief system or religious background, when confronted with the full truth, denying or accepting the Holy Spirit of truth in our hearts is a choice − a choice of eternal pain, suffering and ignorance or eternal bliss, paradise and understanding [35]. It starts on earth by opening our eyes and hearts to the Holy Spirit in our hearts, and making an attempt to truly seek God. Those who truly seek God, with the yearning to love him and neighbour, will find God [36].

What loving Father will refuse the call of a child?

[1] Even the concept of genetic engineering or cloning uses modifications and/or copies of existing species − mankind cannot claim originality of design in these instances. They are tantamount to copying another person’s invention without permission or claiming it as your own, which is violation of that person’s human rights in any civilised society. Taking this to a level of a living creature is not only a violation of the rights of the creator but of the creature, too.

[2] It is interesting to note that of all animals, dogs are most hated by Satan and his demons because of their unconditional love for their owners. This fact was revealed by deceased souls in purgatory to Maria Simma in “Get Us Out of Here!” by Nicky Eltz and Maria Simma, Medjugorje Web, 2002.

[3] Some so called “specialisations” of science today are based on flawed initial assumptions rendering a large body of “modern” science as irrelevant (yet intelligent sounding). I found this particularly true in the field of Control Engineering in which I acquired my PhD. If this happens in quantifiable science by so-called educated scientists, one can just imagine the confusion in the world of religion where there is a spiritual dimension, too. In fact, if we dig deeper into all the major religions of the world that oppose the Word of God, we will find the half-truths and erred assumptions that many follow but have no idea of what they are actually following. If they did, they would abandon these false beliefs. It is no wonder our Lord calls us his lost sheep − so many of us ignorantly follow a perception of the truth, invented by other lost sheep, instead of truly seeking God and his truth and making an effort to follow his way.

[4] “And the Lord God formed man of the slime of the earth: and breathed into his face the breath of life, and man became a living soul.” (Genesis 2:7)

[5] Besides many saints who received direct messages from God, I am aware of three such messengers today who have all the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit: Fernanda de Sequeira, Alan Ames and Vassula Ryden. Jesus told us to judge by the fruits “And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name they shall cast out devils: they shall speak with new tongues. They shall take up serpents; and if they shall drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them: they shall lay their hands upon the sick, and they shall recover.” (Mark 16:17−18) On the contrary, false prophets will not have all of the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit, will contradict or misinterpret Holy Scriptures, will lead people away from the Catholic Church founded by Christ and will provide false (demonically inspired) healing or trickery at best.

[7] Those who claim divinity

[8] As predicted by Christ 2,000 years ago in relation to these End Times: “For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect. Behold I have told it to you, beforehand.” (Matthew 24:24−25)

[9] Many Bibles today are defiled by error in translation as a result of people breaking away from the Church and pushing their own agendas, through ignorance (because of a lack of holiness), pride or disobedience. The most accurate English translation of the Bible from the original Hebrew and Greek texts is the Douay Rheims Bible. This is a direct translation from the Latin Vulgate (of St Jerome) under the auspices of the Catholic Church, the original publisher of the Bible.

[10] HIV/AIDS would be stopped in its tracks if everyone were chaste before marriage and adultery was not committed within marriage. Even if a married partner has HIV, living a chaste marriage is looked upon favourably in the eyes of God, as was the case with St Joseph and Mother Mary. Chastity is one of the twelve fruits of the Holy Spirit and is a natural consequence of God’s Holy Spirit residing in a person.

[11] These spiritual afflictions include, but are not limited to, confusion, intellectual dishonesty, laziness, unforgiveness, depression, anxiety, impatience, cruelty, corruption, selfishness, aggression, disloyalty, pride, addictions and lust. [13] For example, St Silvan was martyred 1,600 years ago and his body remains remarkably intact. His incorruptible body can be viewed in the Church of St Blaise in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

[14] This has been confirmed in secular press too, such as The Economist.

[15] Some may falsely claim to cast out demons by some other religious means. These are just deceptions of evil that go against God’s first Commandment, which may give temporary relief but in the end make matters worse − as is the case for all sinful conduct.

[16] Including some of the demons who were named in the Bible: Old and New Testament.

[18] “Dearly beloved, let us love one another, for charity is of God. And every one that loveth, is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not, knoweth not God: for God is charity. By this hath the charity of God appeared towards us, because God hath sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we may live by him. In this is charity: not as though we had loved God, but because he hath first loved us, and sent his Son to be a propitiation for our sins.” (1 John 4:7−10)

[19] “And God created man to his own image: to the image of God he created him: male and female he created them.” (Genesis 1:27)

[20] “And there was a great battle in heaven, Michael and his angels fought with the dragon, and the dragon fought and his angels: And they prevailed not, neither was their place found any more in heaven. And that great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, who seduceth the whole world; and he was cast unto the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.” (Revelation 12:7−9)

[21] “For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but delivered them, drawn down by infernal ropes to the lower hell, unto torments, to be reserved unto judgment” (2 Peter 2:4)

[22] God was with Adam and Eve and so their offspring knew his way. He was also with Noah so his offspring also knew God’s way. Some chose to obey but most disobeyed.

[23] As described in the Hail Holy Queen prayer, “Turn, then, O most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus” and in the Book of Psalms, “Blessed is the man whose help is from thee: in his heart he hath disposed to ascend by steps, in the vale of tears, in the place which be hath set.” (Psalm 83:6−7 in the Douay Rheims Bible, Psalm 84:5−6 in most other Bibles).

[24] “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth. For the first heaven and the first earth was gone, and the sea is now no more. And I John saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice from the throne, saying: Behold the tabernacle of God with men, and he will dwell with them. And they shall be his people; and God himself with them shall be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes: and death shall be no more, nor mourning, nor crying, nor sorrow shall be any more, for the former things are passed away. And he that sat on the throne, said: Behold, I make all things new. And he said to me: Write, for these words are most faithful and true.” (Revelation 21:1−5)

[25] Jesus agreed to his earthly mission, by his own choice, out of love for his Father, the Holy Spirt and all of mankind.

[26] Throughout the world, Eucharistic miracles have occurred, in which consecrated hosts turn into living flesh. A common thread in these Eucharistic miracles is that it is of a distressed, living heart with blood type AB+. These miracles tie up with the Gospel of John, where Christ asserted, “Then Jesus said to them: Amen, amen I say unto you: Except you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, you shall not have life in you. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath everlasting life: and I will raise him up in the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed: and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, abideth in me, and I in him.” (John 6:53–56)

[27] “I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever; and the bread that I will give, is my flesh, for the life of the world.” (John 6:51)

[28] “Therefore whosoever shall eat this bread, or drink the chalice of the Lord unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and of the blood of the Lord. But let a man prove himself: and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of the chalice. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh judgment to himself, not discerning the body of the Lord.” (1 Corinthians 11:27–30)

[29] “Afterwards, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, said: I thirst.” (John 19:28)

[30] Christ’s suffering is beyond human understanding, as has been revealed to several of his saints and mystics throughout the ages. It hurts God terribly if we go against the Holy Spirit and entertain evil. God gives us time to repent, amend our lives and turn to him. Remember, Jesus Christ is carrying the cross, the pain of each one of our sufferings. God is the three-in-one inseparable Triune God, so if the Son suffers, so does the Father and the Holy Spirit, and so does his Blessed Mother, Mary.

[33]  “Unto the end, a psalm for David. The fool hath said in his heart: There is no God, They are corrupt, and are become abominable in their ways: there is none that doth good, no not one.” (Psalm 13:1 in the Douay-Rheims Bible, in most other Bibles see Psalm 14:1)

In Deuteronomy 30:11−14, God also makes it very clear that the Word (the Holy Spirit of God − see John 1:1: the Word was God) has always been in all of our hearts and in our mouths to proclaim should we so choose: “This commandment, that I command thee this day is not above thee, nor far off from thee: Nor is it in heaven, that thou shouldst say: Which of us can go up to heaven to bring it unto us, and we may hear and fulfill it in work? Nor is it beyond the sea: that thou mayst excuse thyself, and say: Which of us can cross the sea, and bring it unto us: that we may hear, and do that which is commanded? But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth and in thy heart, that thou mayst do it.” St Peter confirms this truth in Acts 15:7−9: “And when there had been much disputing, Peter, rising up, said to them: Men, brethren, you know, that in former days God made choice among us, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel, and believe. And God, who knoweth the hearts, gave testimony, giving unto them the Holy Spirit, as well as to us; And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.”

[35] “Amen I say to you, that all sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and the blasphemies wherewith they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit, shall never have forgiveness, but shall be guilty of an everlasting sin. Because they said: He hath an unclean spirit.” (Mark 3:28). “Therefore I say to you: Every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven men, but the blasphemy of the Spirit shall not be forgiven. And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but he that shall speak against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, nor in the world to come.” (Matthew 12:31−32)

[36] “Ask, and it shall be given you: seek, and you shall find: knock, and it shall be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7)
