Jesus’ message read:
“My dear children, precious children, this is the year of my Divine Mercy. The door of heaven is open for each one of you to bestow many graces and blessings in your lives and your souls. My Divine Mercy is endless, it is an ocean of infinite mercy: do not let this blessing pass by you unnoticed. Come and receive the abundance of my mercy. Do not let it be wasted because of your arrogance, vanity, enviousness, jealousy and unforgiveness against your brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ, disunity in families because of land, inheritance and properties – do not let these material things take control of your life, to lose your soul for eternity... My mercy is for you, my children, to come and repent. Repent and come to Confession with a contrite heart. My mercy is endless... Come dear ones. I, your Jesus of Nazareth of Divine Mercy, I am waiting for you to come and receive my mercy before it is too late. Remember that I never advise the hour, time, day or year of your last breath on earth. Tomorrow it might be too late.”
Our Lord Jesus Christ is calling us to his doors of mercy, his doors of which are open wide this year. In the words of God the Father on Divine Mercy Sunday 2016:
“This year, the door of heaven has been opened on this world to pour out this ocean of mercy. Oh my dear people, take this opportunity to save your souls. Do not take it for granted…”
We recall Jesus’ prophesy to Saint Faustina almost a century ago:
“Speak to the world about my mercy; let all mankind recognize my unfathomable mercy. It is a sign for the end times; after it will come the Day of Justice. While there is still time, let them have recourse to the fountain of my mercy; let them profit from the Blood and Water which gushed forth for them (Diary 848). Before I come as a just Judge, I first open wide the door of my mercy. He who refuses to pass through the door of my mercy must pass through the door of my justice (Diary 1146)”
Repent and confess while time permits, because the End of Time is near...
God the Father tells us in his profound explanation of Confession:
“Come my precious children, I, your Father and my Son, we are not judging you when you come to Confession, nor are my son priests. We want you to be saved, to join us one day in the glory of heaven. Oh my Son’s kingdom is beautiful – do not let go of this beautiful, unique paradise.”
So why face judgement when we can confess our sins now and be forgiven? Why suffer harsh purification in purgatory when we can more easily purify on earth and earn a greater reward in heaven? Why risk our souls to eternal damnation when our Lord Jesus Christ is sacrificing himself to save our souls, if we just turn to him? All it takes is to focus on divine love: to love the way Christ and his saints loved. Jesus is pleading with us to make use of his loving sacrifice and not refuse our salvation on earth.
Alleviate Jesus’ pains today by living his way...
Let us stop hurting our loving Jesus because he undergoes terrible suffering today as a result of our sins. Instead, we must show our love for him by obeying his Commandments. Our Father is telling us that the time is near and is calling all of us to turn to his Son before it is too late.
Our Triune God is calling us to read the Bible, to absorb his living words, to live his way, to fervently pray the prayers given to us together with Rosaries, Divine Mercy Chaplets and other novenas.
Love God, love your neighbour, be sorry for and confess your sins to a priest, take the Body of Christ worthily in Mass, pray and fast. Allow Jesus to truly enter your heart and bring you his love and peace − your love for him will keep growing, and you will never look back.
God’s love and blessings,
